1. What is computer software?

-Software is a set of instructions, data or programs used to operate computers and execute specific tasks. It is the opposite of hardware, which describes the physical aspects of a computer. Software is a generic term used to refer to applications, scripts and programs that run on a device.

2. What are the type of softwares?

-System software. If you think of software as being in layers, the system software is the bottom layer: it sits between the hardware and the application software.

-Utility software.

-Application software.

It also provides a platform for running application software, and system software is typically bundled with a computer's operating system.	System software include operating systems (OS) like macOS, Linux, Android and Microsoft Windows, computational science software, game engines, search engines, industrial automation, and software as a service applications.
